Rims: Our Cero AR22 rims are manufactured from the same "super alloy" as the AR30 and utilize the same T10 cold working process.  What lies beyond these technical terms is a rim that is both lightweight and strong, following modern trends with a 24 mm wide external and 19mm internal width, a wide rim such as this increases the internal air volume of a standard road tire, while also allowing the use of wider tires the main benefit is an increased tire air volume which provides the ability to run lower pressures, which reduce road chatter, increase rider comfort, and decrease rolling resistance. Our Cero AR22 rim is road tubeless compatible too, the bead lock system helps insure the tire will not unseat under low pressure. The application of tubeless compatibility further compliments this design, allowing for even lower tire pressures without the risk of pinch flats. Sealant used with a tubeless tire will also reduce the likelihood of flats from minor punctures.

Hubs: Sharing the same superb Cero hub as the AR30 and RC45 wheel which is designed to offer a superb balance of weight and performance, the 280g set are manufactured from 7075 aluminum and features high quality sealed bearings throughout with a 24 ratchet engagement on the Aluminium hub body combined with a 3 pawl and spring engagement.

Spokes:  Our Cero AR22 wheels use the Sapim CX-Ray spoke. The CX-Ray still receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. Its unique strength and flexibility make the CX-Ray the perfect choice for our wheel. The middle section of the spoke is drawn then pressed in a special mold to form its specific profile.

-Longer lasting than any other spokes on the market. Extremely high fatigue test results.

-The best aerodynamic spoke available.

Produced from high-tensile, fatigue-resistant 18/8 stainless steel conforming to the Sapim quality standard

Brilliant so far Review by Lee

I purchased the AR22's after quite a bit of looking around at competing brands (Mavic, DT Swiss, Hunt, etc etc) but a friend has used the AR30's for some time and raved about them so I took the plunge as I wanted something light, tubeless ready and nice and wide. They arrived well packaged and Cycle Division threw in a pair of Continental Grand Sports and a (admittedly cheap) jersey. You also get 2 pretty light skewers, spare spokes, rim tape already fitted and the tubeless values. At the sale price of £260 I feel like I robbed them frankly!
I’ve paired them with Schwalbe tubeless tyres and although I admit getting them on the rim was a struggle, inflating with a track pump was not. I was delighted. I’ve been riding them for a month now and the difference in performance over the FSA wheel set on my Cannondale SuperSix was marked. Everything is faster, acceleration, rolling along and you can really feel the extra response when climbing. Braking is as good if not better as well.
You also can’t fault the customer service. I almost did the stupid thing of sending them back and they were willing to accept them even though it was a couple of months after purchase (I hadn’t ridden them at this point) which actually convinced me to keep them. I don’t regret it one bit.
Cero obviously don’t have the same wow factor as some bigger brands but why pay more for something no better or probably worse? Buy with confidence.

Great upgrade from stock Review by Jason

These are the first wheels i have bought, as my first upgrade to my first bike, so i can't make any comparisons against other brands. What i can say is that the delivered article is exactly as described by cycle division. A great weight saving over my old RS010, and i can feel the improvements all round. i was most surprised about the big improvement in feel on steep descents. I am a 2m / 105kg rider and on Singapore roads the standard20/24 spoke wheels have been fine. I'm not suggesting you ignore the advised weight limits like me, but i can testify that my set are showing no adverse signs of wear or damage. I caught a deal with free tyres which made the AR22's feel an excellent value for money choice. (Posted on 18/04/2017)

I got these wheels at the end of January. I have ridden about 500 km. with them, 200 of which were a 200 km brevet with some stretches of pretty horrible roads. The wheels took all the punishment with aplomb. I weigh 90 kilos, and I had my winter kit on with some extra food for the long ride, but this didn't faze the wheels.

I get a lot of comments from other cyclists: they weigh nothing, they look great, what's it like with these wide rims, etc. I am pleased with the purchase and hope they are durable. (Posted on 05/03/2017)

Fantastic Wheel-Set Review by Darren

This is my second set of Cero wheels having had the AR30s for a season of training. I wanted to try road tubeless so after much research opted for the AR22. I couldn't be happier with them.
They are very high quality. The build is spot on. The milling on the rim braking surface facilitates great braking. It's quite surprising the difference this makes.
The tubeless tyres went on in a breeze and I sealed them first time with a track pump - totally dry! Stans in them now though.
They are a wide wheel so 25mm tyres sit stoutly on them and the ride is great.
The wheels come in very light too. I would happily have my race team train and race crits on these wheels.
The service from Cycle Division, as always could not be faulted. (Posted on 16/12/2016)

Ordered a set of these when they first became available in July at £330. Considering that Cycle Division also threw in a couple of tyres, cassette, skewers, shorts and a jersey I consider that an absolute bargain.
This is a vendor trying very hard to please the customer - from the helpful online sales service to prompt delivery with parcel tracking that let me know exactly when it would arrive.
These were an upgrade to the standard Bontrager wheels on my Madone. After covering a few thousand miles I can confirm that they live up to all the high praise of other reviews.
Light, stiff and strong, they accelerate and roll well. The build quality is excellent. Their understated appearance gives them a very classy look IMO. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these. (Posted on 13/11/2016)

Difficult to quantify as I've not had a great number of wheel sets to compare.
But after upgrading the Bontrager Race wheels on my Emonda - these are lighter and pick up and roll noticeably better.
Still true after a few 25% gradient all out efforts.
Very much appreciate the advice from Cycle Division (was originally going for AR30s). All in all - a happy customer. (Posted on 11/05/2016)

Bought these as I recently trashed my AR30's I had in a crash, wasn't expecting them to feel as fast due to the lower profile but was really surprised to have them feel as quick with a slight increased stiffness over the AR30. the tubless aspect is great too and am running with some 28mm Schwalbe 1's which sit really nice on the wider rim, they feel as lively as the AR30's and only sacrifice 30g or so which I have clawed back with going tubless, very happy with the performance and great value at this price.
